How do I publish my Website using FrontPage 2002 HTTP Mode?

If you are using FrontPage server extensions, you will be required to publish your website via HTTP mode in FrontPage. When your FrontPage web is ready to be published on the World Wide Web you can transfer the files by using FrontPage HTTP Mode. Here are the steps to follow:


1. Close all open pages in the FrontPage Editor.


2. Go to File - Publish Web or click on the Publish button from the toolbar.


3. After you choose "Publish Web", a Publish Web dialog box is displayed. Like this:


In the "location" box you will notice http:// entered by default.


4. Type the address of your site and the folder you want to upload the files to. For example http://yourname.netfirms.com and click Publish.



5. You will then be asked to enter your Netfirms username and password.



Type your user ID and password and click OK.


6. If the files were successfully uploaded you will get a confirmation like this:
