To create secondary FTP accounts, please follow these steps:1. Login to the Netfirms Control Panel: https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Hosting
3. Choose Files
4. Click FTP Users
5. Click Add
6. In the Root Folder text box, enter the folder you wish to assign permissions for the secondary FTP account to have access to
7. Click Create
NOTES: Entering "/graphics" would give access only to the graphics folder. Please also note that access to /cgi-bin folder for a secondary ftp account is not currently supported for security reasons.
IMPORTANT:
1.You may connect to your secondary FTP account via FTP but not via SFTP
2.When you configure the Directory Path, if the directory does not exist yet, please create it using File Manager (located in Site Tools section of the Control Panel)
3. The secondary FTP username and passwords is system-generated. The only way to change the secondary FTP username/passwords is to "Delete" the account and recreate it.
4. The default permissions set for each secondary FTP user account is: rwx.
