Why do I get an error message indicating my picture is not a valid JPEG file when I try to upload it to my Netfirms Picture Pro gallery?

When uploading a .JPEG/.JPG image file to your Netfirms Picture Pro gallery, please ensure that the size and dimensions of the file has not exceeded the values set in the Config section of your gallery. Otherwise you may be presented with the following similar error message:

The picture 'albums/userpics/10001/test_test.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

The image you have uploaded is corrupted or can't be handled by the GD library

Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg: 'albums/userpics/10001/test_test.jpg' is not a valid JPEG file in /mnt/web_z/d02/s99/a0000009/www/picturepro/nfpicturepro/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 176

To check your settings, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your Members Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Applications
3. Click Picture Pro
4. For the Netfirms Picture Pro installation you wish to administer, click the corresponding Admin link
5. Click Config
6. Under the "Picutres and thumbnail settings" section, ensure that your file/picture that you are attempting to upload does not exceed the settings that have been configured. For example, if your picture has the dimensions 1600X800 but your "Max width or height of an intermediate picture" is only set to 400, then you will encounter the error message indicated above
