How do I upload a picture to a Netfirms Picture Pro photo gallery? .: Netfirms 24/7 Support

To upload a picture to a Netfirms Picture Pro photo gallery, the following conditions must be met:

1. The Administrator of the photo gallery must have granted visitors permission to do so

NOTE: If you are logged in with Admin permissions, then you you already have permission to upload pictures by default

2. The visitor must create an album to upload the pictures to first

A. Set Visitor Permissions
1. Log into your Members Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Applications
3. Click Picture Pro
4. For the Picture Pro installation you wish to administer, click the corresponding Admin link
5. Click Config
6. Under User Settings section, the "Users can can have private albums" setting should be set to "Yes"
7. To allow visitors to register, the "Allow new user registrations" setting under the "User settings" section must be set to "Yes". Otherwise proceed to step #10 to create a User login
8. Click "Save configurations" button
9. Click Continue
10. Click Users
11. Click the Create new user button
12. Enter a User name and password (password must not be the same as the user name) along with other relevant information as presentedo n the screen
13. Click the Modify user button

B. Create Album
1. Browse to your Netfirms Picture Pro gallery web page
2. Login (or register first if you are a new visitor)
3. Click the Create/order my albums button

NOTE:If you are uploading pictures with Admin permissions, then click the Albums menu option instead

4. Click the New button
5. Enter the name of the album you wish to create
6. Click the Apply the Modifications button
7. Click Continue

C. Upload Pictures
1. Click the Upload Picture link
2. Select the Album that you would like to upload your picture too.
3. Click the Browse button, then locate the picture on your computer's hard drive
4. Type a Picture Title
5. Type a Picture Description
6. Type a keyword. This is used for the search function
7. Click Upload Picture
