How do I change it so my Wordpress site is http://yourdomain.com instead of http://yourdomain.com/WordpressFolder/ ?

If you have installed Wordpress to a subfolder on your account then in order to access the site you would have to include the folder in your URL, ie. http://yourdomain.com/MyWordpressFolder/ . If you would like to move your site from one folder location to another folder, you are required to make a slight change to your Wordpress settings to reflect the new location. The example below shows you how to make your Wordpress site your homepage (assuming yourdomain.com is fowarded to /yourdomain.com/ folder in your Netfirms Control Panel)

  1. Log into the Admin section of your WordPress

  2. Click Settings

  3. Enter yourdomain.com into the Blog address (URL) field

  4. Enter yourdoman.com into the WordPress address (URL) field

  5. Click Save Changes

Now that you have modified the configuration file to reflect the new home location of your website, you will need to physically move the files to the new location. Using the Netfirms File Manager is recommended for this process because FTP may take some time to move each file.
