How do I set user permissions on a mySQL database?

To set user permissions on your MySQL database, please follow these steps:

1. Login to the Member Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Hosting
3. Choose Databases
4. Click MySQL
5. For the database you wish to configure, click Admin
6. Click Add
7. Click the Add Database User tab
8. In the Database pull-down menu, select the database id you wish to add a user for
9. In the Type pull-down menu, select Read and Write or Read Only

NOTES:
(i) To create a user with Administrator privileges, choose Read and Write 
Select this type of user if you are going to be storing information in your database from your website.
(ii) Select Read Only if you are only going to be reading data from the database. This user type is more secure.
