How do I reset a MySQL password?

If you have forgotten your password to your MySQL database, you may reset the password to a database by following these instructions:

1. Login to the Members Control Panel at
http:/www.netfirms.com/members
2. Click Hosting
3. Choose Databases
4. Click MySQL
5. For the database you wish to change a password for, click the corresponding plus sign located to the left of the Database Name
6. Click the Password tab
7. In the Enter New Password box, enter the new password 
8. In the Confirm New Password box, re-enter the new password
9. Click Update

IMPORTANT: If you change your database password and your database is linked to an application, please remember to update your applications configuration file so that it uses the new login credentials:

Wordpress: ../wp-config.php
CommercePro: ../catalog/includes/configure.php and /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php
Picture Pro: ../include/config.inc.php
phpBB: ../config.php
Joomla: ../configuration.php
