The autoresponder, when configured, becomes handy if you will be away on vacation and unavailable to respond to emails. When configured, your auto-response will be sent out once to each person who emails you. The following tutorial will assist you in using Netfirms Webmail to configure a vacation autoresponder:I. To login to Netfirms webmail, please browse to http://webmail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your registered domain hosted by Netfirms)
II. OPTIONS: Vacation/Autoresponder
If you will be away on vacation, you may want to configure an auto-reply message for those who email you while you are away.
1. To activate the autoresponder, click the Options link
2. Click the checkbox labelled: "Activate vacation autoresponder"
3. In the "Message text" text box, enter a short message. In your message you may choose to include dates indicating when you will be away and when you will return as well as an alternative method of communication while you are away.
4. When you are ready to save your autoresponder settings, click the "Submit" button
NOTE: Autoresponses are rate limited. If you receive an auto-response, you will not receive another one until the next hour.
