To transfer a domain name you already own to your Netfirms account please follow the steps below:

I. Creating a new Netfirms account

1. Begin the signup process at http://www.netfirms.com

2. Select a hosting plan and proceed to Sign Up

3. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer to Netfirms

4. Select the DNS Transfer option

5. Click Search and follow the instructions to complete the sign up process.

II. Adding a Domain Name to an existing Netfirms account

Registrar Transfer
1. Login to the Netfirms Members Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Domains
3. Click Domain Manager
4. For the domain you wish to transfer to Netfirms, click the corresponding plus sign located to the left of the Domain Name
5. From the Transfer tab, click Transfer

6. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the registrar transfer of your domain

Ensure that the name servers for your domain is pointing to:

ns1.netfirms.com
ns2.netfirms.com

Note: It typically takes 24-72 hours for domains to be transferred by your domain registrar.
