How do I make my domain's contact information displayed in WHOIS private?

For .com, .net, and .ca domains registered through Netfirms, you can make the contact information displayed in your domain's WHOIS private.

.com and .net

Follow these steps:

1. Login to the Netfirms Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Domains
3. Click Admin
4. Click DNS Admin
5. "I agree to the Domain Privacy Terms of Service" check box should have a check mark
6. Click Enable

When your domain is private, Domain Privacy will be ON in the DNS Admin section of your domain.
When your domain is private, your whois record will look similar to the following (where yourdomain.com is your domain registered domain; where Whois Privacy and Spam Prevention by DomainTools.com is an example of the contact email address your domain would be associated with and any communication sent to the private email address will be forwarded to your actual email address):
