How do I delete my website files?

There are a number of ways to remove files from your web account. Here are some suggestions:

NOTE: Please use caution before removing any files from your account. Before you proceed to remove any files from your web account, please ensure that you have a back-up copy of the files on your local machine if you think you might want to revert back to the files at a later point in time. Once a file has been deleted from our servers, it will not be recoverable.

To delete your web files from the remote site using the Netfirms File Manager:
1. Login to the Netfirms Members Control Panel
Members Control Panel
2. From the Account Home section, click File Manager
3. If the file or folder resides in the /www folder, click www. If the file or folder resides in the /cgi-bin folder, click cgi-bin

NOTES:
(i)To delete everything from the current directory, click the checkbox located to the left of the Name column.
(ii)To delete the entire contents from your /www folder, click the Home icon from the menu and then click the checkbox beside the www folder.
