1. Avoid flashy backgrounds, use a simple white background
2. Stick to a few fonts. Use Arial, Verdana or Times for text.
3. If you use an image editor, save photos as jpg images and titles as gifs.
4. If you use photos, keep the file sizes small for fast downloading.
5. Write good and clear content on your site.
6. Avoid use of frames since users tend to feel trapped. Use tables instead to get a similar effect.
