Once Google Apps has been applied to your domain names you can begin using e-mail services through Google's servers. There are three ways you can access your e-mail
- Webmail - http://mail.domain.com or http://google.com/a/domain.com (replace domain.com with your actual domain name)
- POP via an e-mail client such as Outlook or Thunderbird
- IMAP via an e-mail client such as Outlook or Thunderbird
Before we can begin using POP or IMAP with the Google Apps email account, these services must be enabled.
Enable POP/IMAP for Google Apps- Log in to your admin e-mail account at http://mail.domain.com (where domain.com is your domain name). You can obtain the admin@domain.com password from the Google Apps menu in your Netfirms Control Panel
- Once logged in, click on the Settings tab in the top right corner
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP

- Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on
- Choose the action you'd like Gmail messages to take after they are accessed with POP or IMAP.
