The IE browser may be configured to allow you to drag and drop web sites files from your local machine to your web account. Simply browse to the following location by inputting the following into the address bar of the browser (where membername is your Netfirms membername as assigned in your Netfirms Welcome Letter, password is your FTP password, and yourdomain.com is your domain hosted at Netfirms):

ftp://membername:password@yourdomain.com (OR ftp://membername:password@membername.netfirms.com)

If initially IE does not allow you to drag and drop files into your Netfirms FTP sites, follow these instructions:

1. Open the IE browser
2. Go into Tools --> Internet Options.
3. Under the Security Tab, click on the appropriate zone (usually either Internet or Local Intranet, or both), then click on custom level.
4. Under Miscellaneous, make sure "Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste files" is set to either Enable or Prompt. 
6. Save your changes
7. You now must change your change your FTP site view from the IE browser to Windows Explorer.  To do so please follow these instructions:

a) Click Page.
b) Click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer.

You will now be able to drag and drop files to your Netfirms FTP site.
