To change the starting value of your Netfirms hit counter, simply login to the Netfirms Control Panel and recreate the counter with a new starting value:

1. Login to the Members section of our site at https://secure.netfirms.com/memberslogin.
2. Click the 'Site Tools' tab.
3. Under Website Tools, click Hit Counter
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select and configure your counter.
5. Click Create.
6. Copy the generated HTML code and paste it into the HTML page that you want the counter to display on.
7. Save the changes to your file.
8. Upload the file to your site.
