To configure the Website counter included in all Netfirms hosting packages, please follow these steps:
1. Login to the Members section of our site at https://secure.netfirms.com/memberslogin.
2. Click the 'Site Tools' tab.
3. Under Website Tools, click Hit Counter
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select and configure your counter.
5. Click Create.
6. Copy the generated HTML code and paste it into the HTML page that you want the counter to display on.
7. Save the changes to your file.
8. Upload the file to your site.
For instance, the coding that should be placed into your web page should look similar to the following example (do not copy the code below into your web page as it will not display the counter; you must generate your custom code from inside your Control Panel):

Please note: The free counter is provided as part of your hosting package and will only work with your Netfirms hosted pages. This counter will not track visitors to pages hosted on a third party server.
