1. Login to your blogger.com account.
2. Click the Settings tab
3. Click Publishing.
4. Ensure that you are using FTP (and not SFTP)
Blogger asks for the following information:
FTP Server:
Blog URL:
FTP Path:
Blog Filename:
FTP Username:
FTP Password:
- For FTP Server enter yourname.netfirms.com (where "yourname" is your
Netfirms username.
- For blog URL enter the address that would take you to your blog. For
example, http://yourname.netfirms.com/blog/
- For FTP path, enter www and the folder path for your site. For the
above example, you would enter: /www/blog/
- For Blog file name, enter the name of the page on which your blog will
be displayed. For example: index.html
- For FTP username, enter your Netfirms Username.
- For FTP password, enter your Netfirms FTP password.
4. Click Save Settings.
(Optional) If you have a domain name that you wish to forward to your google blogger.com site follow these steps:
Configure your CNAME via the Netfirms Control Panel:
1. Log in to your Netfirms Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click on the Domains tab
3. Click on the Admin button for your domain
4. Click the CNAME button for your domain
5. In the field where it asks for Subdomain enter www and for CNAME enter ghs.google.com and then click Modify.
