How do I resolve the error "An error occurred while processing this directive" from my website?

If you encounter an error such as "An error occurred while processing this directive" when loading your site, we suggest that you try renaming the WordPress re-direct file called "index.shtml" file to "redirect.wp" located under the "www" directory. You may use a FTP program or Netfirms File Manager to rename the file.

To rename the index.shtml file using Netfirms File Manager, please follow these instructions:

1. Login to the Netfirms Members Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
2. Click Site Tools
3. Click File Manager
4. Click www
5. Check off the file "index.shtml" you wish to rename (a check box appears to the left of each filename)
6. Click Move icon
7. Enter a new filename (we suggest redirect.wp)
8. Click Move
