If your customers are getting the following message (in their web browser) after selecting UPSS as a shipping method, please follow the instructions below to ensure proper activation of your UPSS account:
"United States Postal Service An error occured with the UPSS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use UPSS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner."
This error message indicates you have not activated your account with UPSS. To do so, please follow these steps:
1. Retrieve the e-mail that UPSS sent you regarding your account.
2. Find the contact number to call them by phone to activate the account (eg. move the account over to the Production server).
NOTE: Requests for the UPSS production server are handled within 24 hours except weekends where it is handled the next business day.
Once activated, the error message should no longer be displayed.
