I. I HAVE A DOMAIN NAME NOW!
If you currently own a domain that you wish to transfer to Netfirms, you have 2 options:
Option #1: DNS Transfer
You can point your domain to Netfirms nameservers This option will allow Netfirms to host your domain's website and email accounts. You will continue to be billed by the registrar you originally registered the domain with every time your domain name is up for renewal.
ns1.netfirms.com
ns2.netfirms.com
Once your domain is pointed to the above Netfirms nameservers, allow 24-72 hours for the changes to fully propagate throughout the Internet. This propagation time is standard for all domain registrars and once completed, your domain will be fully hosted by Netfirms.
Option #2: Registrar Transfer
If your domain is currently registered elsewhere but you would like to take advantage of Netfirm's lowest price domain renewal, you can choose to initiate a registrar transfer of your domain so that your domain will be billed/renewed by Netfirms.
