How do I add a subdomain to my Netfirms account?

To add a subdomain to your Netfirms account, please follow these steps:

Login to the Netfirms Members Control Panel at https://controlpanel.netfirms.com
Click Domains
Choose Domain Manager
Click Add
Click the Sub-domain tab
Enter the subdomain information as well as the forwarding location and then click Add
IMPORTANT: To configure a forwarding address, please follow these guidelines:
(i)You can type in an absolute path for the subdomain to forward to
Example of an absolute path: http://www.anywebsiteyouwish.com
(ii)Alternatively you may type in a relative path for the subdomain to forward to
Example of a relative path: /photogallery/
(iii)If you do not enter a forwarding location, the subdomain will point to the domain itself
(iv)Please note that any changes will typically take up to 72 hours to propagate.

NOTE: Subdomains are not supported on asp and asp.net websites at this time.
